Co-Curriculum - Music

Hunter School of the Performing Arts boasts an extensive co-curricular music program of the highest quality, including state and national champion bands, award winning choirs and outstanding musical productions and ensembles. Quality performances, camps and tours are enjoyed on a regular basis. All students are eligible to be part of the co-curricular music program.

All music students are required to join at least one Core Music Ensemble (in keeping with their discipline) which greatly assists the development of all musical (and other) skills. Students who are members of a Core Music Ensemble may also audition for one or more Additional Music Ensembles. Members of all ensembles are required to pay a fee. Details of these and the instrument hire fees are published in the Gig Guide every month.
