Special Features
The Primary Department and English Faculty have a particular interest in supporting gifted and talented students. Shakespeare study is common, and many of our teachers have specialist drama training. We also have teachers with specialist training in teaching writing and digital film making. We refer talented Year 2-6 students to the Primary Gifted and Talented Camp. Talented Year 7-12 writers have entered major competitions and completed courses at the University of Newcastle with considerable success.
